World Cup coverage pulled

In light of Qatar World Cup ambassador Khalid Salman's claims that homosexuality is 'damage in the mind', along with many other controversies, we have decided not to broadcast any World Cup games, in solidarity with our family, friends, colleagues and customers from the LGBTQ+ community.

One of the best traditional music festivals in Scotland

Newton Stewart & Minnigaff & Traditional Music & Dance Festival has been nominated for Event of the Year at the prestigious MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards which will be broadcast live from the Caird Hall, Dundee, on BBC Alba on Sunday 4th December. They need your vote though!

Guitar tuition on hold whilst funding sought

Unfortunately, due to budget restraints, guitar tuition at The Vault Arts Centre has been postponed until further notice. This will, sadly, affect the 9 young guitar students currently attending the free TVYP lessons each week. The Trust hopes to have this matter resolved as soon as possible.

Tune and Song Sessions this Weekend

There will be tune and song sessions aplenty this weekend at the 2nd annual Autumn Trad Festival, which starts this Friday 21st October. Musicians are welcome at venues throughout Newton Stewart, with sessions at The Vault Arts Centre kicking off from 1pm on Friday and Saturday, and 3pm on Sunday.
