Waves Blues Band
Wave Blues Band was founded in 2012 by jazz guitarist Brian Thomson and plays authentic Chicago and Detroit electric blues from the ’20s to ’50s. The Dumfries and Galloway based band takes its audience back to a time of smoke-filled rooms in a Chicago bar, bourbon-soaked floorboards and the soulful sounds of a harmonica crying from the speakers.
The Andy Taylor Group
An electrifying trio hailing from the Orkney Islands. Critically acclaimed as one of the most exciting up and coming young blues talents in the UK, the trio have been captivating audiences the length and breadth of the UK.
Easy Does It
The Vault Arts Centre's house blues band, brought together for a unique performance to open Saturday night's proceedings and featuring the one and only 'Easy' on harmonica.
Redfish Blues Band
The band, who have recently collaborated with The Cinelli Brothers on the superb “British Blues Summit” album “No Country For Bluesmen” is fronted by the charismatic Christian Sharpe, a consummate master of improvisation and dynamics.
