We hope you all enjoyed a break, if you got one, over the festive period, and are as ready as we are to take on whatever 2022 throws at us!
Ever the optimists, this year's plans include three festivals: the SpringGrass Bluegrass Festival (13th-15th May 2022), the 8th annual Newton Stewart & Minnigaff Traditional Music & Dance Festival (8th-10th July 2022) and Autumn Trad (21st-23rd October 2022) alongside another packed programme of regular events at The Vault Arts Centre including the hugely popular Metal/Rock nights (1st Saturday of every month) and the Trad/Folk Club (2nd last Friday of every month).
The weekly youth group, The Vault Youth Project which is open to anyone living in Dumfries & Galloway aged 12-25, is back from Wednesday 12th January 2022 with a new time of 3:30pm-5:30pm and we'll also be announcing updated rehearsal space times, exclusive to TVYP members, once they have been decided by the group.
We currently working on this year's programme and will update you all in due course. Your support has been crucial to the survival of the project, plus we've had some fantastic nights of live music and entertainment, despite Covid, so we're looking forward to seeing you all again in 2022.
Following a cancellation this weekend, we've brought forward the Bluegrass Night, originally scheduled for Friday 2nd January, to this coming Friday 19th December 2025 from 7pm. Join local and visiting musicians for an evening of bluegrass/Americana/old-time music. Free entry!
