Covid-19 Announcement

It is with a very heavy heart indeed that we have taken the decision to cancel all gigs scheduled to take place at The Vault Arts Centre this December, in direct response to the ongoing threat of the new Omicron variant and also the announcement made by the Scottish Government today.

Visualisation of the Covid-19 virus

Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this will cause but, as we're sure you will appreciate, the safety of our audiences, staff and performing artists is paramount, along with our overall responsibility to do what we can to limit further transmission of the virus.  Combined with the new legal requirements that are to be imposed for hospitality businesses, we've decided to put the larger events on hold, for now; regroup and reconvene in February 2022.

The following events are affected:

Friday 17th December - Open Mic Night
Saturday 18th December - Connor Clark & The Matador Kings +The Mind Sweepers
Thursday 23rd December - Christmas Folk/Trad Club
Tuesday 28th December - Christmas Party Night with Rhythm in Shoes
Saturday 1st January - New Year's Day Trad Session

If you've already purchased tickets for any of the above events, we will provide a full refund upon request or you can keep your ticket/s for the rescheduled dates which we will be announcing in February 2022.

The Music Shop will remain open, with social distancing measures in place, plus the regular groups - TVYP, beginners and intermediate fiddle classes and AccessibleArt class - are all unaffected.

We would like to thank everyone that has attended events at The Vault Arts Centre in 2021.  Your support is hugely appreciated and, as those of you who have attended events will know, we've had some outstanding nights of music and entertainment, despite the difficulties Covid-19 has presented.  We look forward to a busy programme of events in 2022 and, in the meantime, wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
