Fantastic songwriting workshop with Jenny Laahs & Findlay Napier

Last Sunday 5th September, members of TVYP (The Vault Youth Project) attended a songwriting workshop at The Vault Arts Centre featuring two of Scotland's most respected musicians/singers/songwriters, Findlay Napier and Jenny Laahs.
Students and tutors worked hard throughout the day
Participants took part in a number of exercies throughout the day, with support from Jenny & Findlay, composing their own lyrics and creating their own songs.
This course was supported by 10,000 Voices in Action and The Holywood Trust.
Scottish national award finalists
Finalists every year since 2022, and winners of a 'Highly Recommended' award in the 'Best Social Responsibility' category in 2025, The Vault Arts Centre has done it again in 2026; finalists again in the 'Best Night Out' category! Can we bring home a national award for Newton Stewart this year?
