If you're looking for great live music, local beers and spirits and a friendly, welcoming. atmosphere then check out this weekend's outstanding programme of events at The Vault Arts Centre with Folk Club on Fri 18th, top Liverpudlian band Candy Opera on Sat 19th and Cocktails on Sun 20th!

Candy Opera perform this weekend!

Join local and visiting musicians for an evening of live traditional Scottish/Irish tunes and songs to celebrate our very good friend Kaz's birthday on Friday 18th April from 6pm.  Entry is free, musicians are very welcome and it's always a great night of music that the whole family will enjoy.

On Saturday 19th April we welcome back, by popular demand, the outstanding Candy Opera from Liverpool. Candy Opera were formed in 1982 on the notorious Phythian Estate, Kensington, Liverpool. The band was heavily influenced by 'Love's ' seminal 'Forever Changes' album, 'The Beach Boys', 'Aztec Camera' and local neighbours, 'The Pale Fountains'.  Entry is £8 or £6 (12-25s) and you'll experience one of the best bands ever to come out of Liverpool.  You can book tickets for that online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/the-vault/t-jzdjpjl.

The bar is open from 1pm on Sunday 20th with 'Sunday Funday' Cocktails from 7pm-9pm and the usual great playlist and welcoming atmosphere.  Entry is free.

We'll have a range of local favourites behind the bar too including Five Kingdoms Brewery (Isle of Whithorn), Borderlands Brewery (Canonbie), Crafty Distillery (Newton Stewart), Ninefold Distillery (Dalton), Bladnoch Distillery (Bladnoch) and Dark Art Distillery (Kirkcudbright).

Sabbra Cadabra gig cancelled this weekend

Due to circumstances entirely beyond our control, we have had to cancel this Saturday 7th February's Sabbra Cadabra gig. Unfortunately the guitarist has injured his hand and the band have tried to seek a replacement but no-one is available to the standard the guys need.
