Blues Weekender 2023

Come along on the 15th and 16th of September for an exciting weekend jam packed with the best of blues music! The line up this year is incredible and not something you want to miss! We have Easy does it and Three Card Trick kicking the weekend off on the Friday night. Local legend Easy Bob Reid plays classic blues tunes on the harmonica. Three Card Trick have recently completed successful tours of France, Spain and USA promoting their original albums. Al Hughes and The Brian Rawson Band will keep the weekend lively with their performance Saturday night. Al Hughes writes from his own perspective on topic which are very much of today and rooted in Blues and soul tradition. Brian Rawson was the guitar player in Belfast band, The Tearjerkers (Good Vibrations/Phonogram) who opened for Thin Lizzy on their Chinatown Tour, Dexy's Midnight Runners, Doll by Doll and Rachel Sweet.

There is a fully stocked bar in house, filled with the finest local beers/spirits Scotland has to offer. There are beers/Ales from Five Kingdoms Brewery, WEST Brewery and Borderlands Brewery. Whiskey from Bladnoch Distillery. Gins from Crafty Distillery and Dark Art Distillery. Local Rums from Ninefold distillery and Cider from Lost Orchards.

Bluegrass night brought forward to 19th December!

Following a cancellation this weekend, we've brought forward the Bluegrass Night, originally scheduled for Friday 2nd January, to this coming Friday 19th December 2025 from 7pm. Join local and visiting musicians for an evening of bluegrass/Americana/old-time music. Free entry!
