Fab new logo for September's Blues Weekender

Huge thanks to Dumfries & Galloway College design student Eilidh Sinclair who we've been working with to design a logo for September's blues festival, Blues Weekender, as part of Eilidh's design course.
Eilidh Sinclair's Blues Weekender Logo
Designed to provide students with real-life work/client experience, we worked with Eilidh and staff at Dumfries & Galloway College to produce a brief which Eilidh used, along with her own skills and experience, to create a fantastic new logo and flyer for the event.
Eilidh finishes her course today and has already secured a design job with a local company so we're thrilled for Eilidh and also with the logo and flyer she has produced for the Blues Weekender event.
Scottish national award finalists
Finalists every year since 2022, and winners of a 'Highly Recommended' award in the 'Best Social Responsibility' category in 2025, The Vault Arts Centre has done it again in 2026; finalists again in the 'Best Night Out' category! Can we bring home a national award for Newton Stewart this year?
