A great turnout for the recent fundraiser for this year's Newton Stewart & Minnigaff Traditional Music & Dance Festival. Huge thanks to everyone who attended and particularly to musicians Easy Bob Reid and, father, Billy Jones who joined brothers Aaron & Nathon Jones on stage for some tunes!

The 9th annual Newton Stewart & Minnigaff Traditional Music & Dance Festival takes place over 7th-9th July 2023 and looks set to be another sell-out festival event so please ensure you book early to avoid disappointment.

Last year's event was nominated, by the public and industry peers, as a finalist in the 'Event of the Year' (Sponsored by VisitScotland) category at the national MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards, acknowledging the event as being one of the best traditional music & dance festivals in Scotland.

With a reputation as one of the best kept secrets in Scotland, the event attracts outstanding traditional music & dance artists who perform, teach and regularly join the many sessions that take place in venues all over Newton Stewart & Minnigaff.

Don't miss it!
