The Mind Sweepers are coming to The Vault Arts Centre for an unforgettable night of live music! Get ready to experience a performance that will leave you feeling inspired and energised! Support from the post-punk Edinburgh band, Big Lanes!
The Mind Sweepers are an original band from S/W Scotland. They were formed in 2014 and have played festivals, pubs, and charity nights ranging from the Eden Festival to Gatehouse Music Festival, the Salutation in Manchester and to Stereo in Glasgow.
The band consist of Paul Winter (vocals/rhythm guitar/lyrics), John McInally (lead guitar), Mark Jardine (bass), and Bryn Thorburn (drums/percussion). All of their set is original material, and they don't do covers. End-of. Their songs are hard to pigeon-hole, with regard to genre, and it could be said that The Mind Sweepers defy such artistic classification.
Support from Big Lanes. Big Lanes is a Post-Punk, Psych Rock band from Edinburgh, Scotland. Brought together by the pandemic in 2021 when there was nothing else to do, they began writing and recording new music with influences from Yo La Tengo, Galaxie 500 and the Jesus and Mary Chain.
