Kate Kyle +Charlie Dorans

Shortlisted as a finalist for a BBC Radio Scotland Singer/Songwriter award in 2019, local musician, singer and composer, Kate Kyle, returns to The Vault Arts Centre almost exactly two years since her first performance back in November 2019!

We're delighted to be welcoming Kate back for what will, we're sure, be a very special performance.

Kate's 5-track debut EP entitled ‘Where I’m Going’, was been met with a great deal of accolade – “possibly the finest song-writing I’ve heard from someone of this age” – Bruce McKenzie D&G Life Magazine.

Accompanied by her guitar Kate performs regularly at gigs locally as well as events including Celtic Connections in Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall (where she was placed on the ‘Highly Recommended Artist’ list), Eden Festival, Edinburgh Hidden Door Festival, Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival, Scottish Parliament, Resonate Live 2018, Millport Country Music Festival, among others.

Kate has achieved many accolades for her song-writing and performance including D&G Music Festival for composition and song-writing, winner of Maidens of Music 2018 and this year’s Cultural Award for Year of Young People.

Kate will be supported on the night by local musician, singer and songwriter Charlie Dorans.

A fantastic opportunity to see two of the region's best talents live in concert.
